Woman software professional killed in road accident

A 28-year-old woman software professional was today killed here when the cab in which she was travelling allegedly rammed into a heavy goods truck, police said.
The mishap occurred on the outer ring road when the victim Nazia Sultana was on her way to the airport to board a flight to Bengaluru in the wee hours today, Rajendranagar police sub-inspector G Sharath Kumar told PTI.
"She succumbed to head injuries. The driver drove the car in a negligent manner", he said.
The driver has been hospitalised, he added.
Sultana who was married, worked with
Bengaluru-headquartered software major Infosys Ltd, police said adding a case has been registered in this regard.
