Filmmaker James Cameron has brought in "War of the Worlds" scribe Josh Friedman to work on the "Avatar 2" screenplay.
Cameron is currently in New Zealand to work on the script that will be a follow up to his 2009 mega-blockbuster, the Hollywood Reporter said.
Friedman executive produced TV series "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles", which Cameron had nothing to do with despite creating the characters with Gale Anne Hurd.
"Avatar" is the highest grossing movie of all time.
