Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Tuesday congratulated the district magistrate of Etawah for receiving certification from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) under the Swachh Bharat Mission.
Etawah has become the first district in the country to receive such certification under the mission, an official spokesman said here.
The Etawah DM, Selva Kumari J, presented the certificate to the chief minister Monday afternoon at Shastri Bhawan here, he said.
On the occasion, Adityanath asked all the districts to adopt Etawah model of cleanliness, he said.
