The youth was trying to cross the railway track under Advance Level Telecom Training Centre (ALTTC) flyover when he was run over by the speeding train, they said.
Sihani Gate SHO Upendra Yadav said that some onlookers informed police that a youth has been smashed to death and his body is lying besides railway tracks.
Police is trying to establish his identity and the body has been sent for post-mortem, SHO added.
