Yuvaraj is in Central Jail, Vellore, after he surrendered before the CB-CID office in Namakkal on October 10 in connection with the Dalit youth Gokulraj murder case.
The body of Gokularaj was found on the railway track near Pallipalayam on June 24 and it had triggered protests from his family who had alleged it was an honour killing.
He was brought to the court today amidst tight security involving nearly 100 police personnel.
He was later taken back to Vellore.
A firm in Erode District, where Yuvaraj was the Manager, had collected over Rs 2.1 crore from nearly 170 depositors over a period of time, on the promise of supplying emu birds as part of contract farming system, which turned out to be a scam.
