SINGAPORE (Reuters) - Gold rose 1 percent on Tuesday as a weaker dollar helped the metal snap a three-day decline.

Spot gold hit a session high of $1,444.96 an ounce, before cutting gains to $1,442.49 by 0109 GMT, up 0.9 percent.
