 "MSME ministry joins Facebook, Twitter")
In line with other ministries using social media to reach out to the masses, the ministry of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) has also launched its Facebook and Twitter accounts, according to the latest e-newsletter of the Federation of Indian Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (FISME).
Union MSME Minister Kalraj Mishra inaugurated the Twitter handle and Facebook account of the Ministry of MSME recently, the e-newsletter reported.
The minister said on the occasion that it is in accordance with the government's vision to reach out to the maximum possible number of people through social media.
Important ministries like Finance and Commerce will soon join Twitter as part of the new government's effort to use social media in communicating with citizens.
