Andhra Cyclone Aid

The World Bank has sanctioned Andhra Pradesh $150 million to implement its cyclone recovery project. The aid would be given in form of a credit of $100 million by the International Development Association and a loan of $50 million by the bank. The project will finance a hazard management programme, infrastructure restoration and technical assistance.
