Cotton Stays Mixed

Cotton prices were mixed on Monday in moderate trade , dealers said. Gujarat varieties bounced back but Punjab cotton fell on higher arrivals. In the spot deals, Bengal deshi lost Rs 10-15 at Rs 1,970/1,990 per maund while saw-ginned cotton fell by Rs 5-10 at Rs 1,970/2,075 per maund. Gujarat Sankar-4 jumped Rs 200 to Rs 20,800/21 ,200 for average grade while superior grade rose to Rs 21,500-21,600.
