Shares in Daimler-Benz AG, Germanys largest industrial group, jumped 2.2 per cent to an all-time high of DM142.40 in pre-bourse trade on Wednesday after the company forecast a further rise in operating profit this year. Daimlers shares rose 3.10 marks to 142.40 marks in the shortly after trading started.
