Erp Solutions A Hit, Claims Oracle

Oracle India yesterday announced that several mid-to=large Indian customers had implenmented Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning applications, part of the Oracle E-Business Suite, within three to six months.

These local customers, in Internet services and manufacturing industry, chose Oracle over the competition - SAP and BAAN - to automate operations and intergate key business functions in manufacturing, finance and human resources development.

These customers include MRF Limited, Henkel Spic India Limited, Simpson & Company Limited; Tata Infotech Limited, Satyam Infoway Limited, Planet M, PSEG India Private Limited and National Institue of Oceanography, according to a company statement.

"Our applications solutions have been very beneficial for our customers," the statement, quoting Vivek Marla, director of applications, Oracle India, stated. These offerings enable mid-to-large companies to automate and intergrate key funcations within the organisation combined with excellent customer service, education and support to ensure successful implementation and maintenance.
