The results are, therefore, not strictly comparable with the figures of the corresponding period. After providing Rs 3.24 crore for excise duty, net sales and licence fees stood at Rs 45.91 crore.

While other income was Rs 1 crore, interest outgo increased to Rs 1.86 crore. Gross profit before depreciation and tax climbed 21.18 per cent to Rs 2.46 crore. Profit before tax rose 10.19 per cent to Rs 1.73 crore during the period under review over Rs 1.57 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal.
