Hc On Toxic Wastes

The Delhi High Court yesterday asked the Union government to file a reply to the allegation that it allowed import of toxic waste despite a clear ban on it. Justice C M Nayar asked the Centre to file a reply, within two weeks, to the allegations by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) and an NGO Srishti and posted the matter for further hearing on August 22.
