After a technical correction last week, heavy weighted stocks bounced back to close with widespread gains on the Delhi Stock Exchange (DSE) yesterday following emergence of buying by (FIIs) and speculators.
However, a fall in Tisco and MTNL shares pulled down the DSE sensitive index by 1.13 points to close at 909.33 points. Stock brokers said yesterday being the first session of the current settlement, major players including FIIs, turned aggressive and bought stocks of multinational and several strong fundamental company shares which pushed up the Sensex.
Some stock brokers feels despite the prevailing fluid political conditions buying wave was strong which suggests that market sentiments after remaining somewhat weak in the past two sessions, turned bullish.
RIL regained operators and FIIs buying support after a technical correction and recovered by Rs 9.35 to close at Rs 363.90.
