Horizon Zero Dawn Release date: March 2017 Platform: PS4 exclusive
Revolving around a hunter Aloy, Horizon Zero Dawn is set in a world overrun by robots. Much like other open-world games, Horizon Zero Dawn will feature side quests apart from the main story. Developed by Guerilla Games, the game will let players use a range of weapons and stealth tactics to combat the robots.
MASS EFFECT: ANDROMEDA
Mass Effect: Andromeda Release date: Early 2017 Platform: PS4, Xbox One, PC
Developed by Bioware and published by Electronic Arts, Mass Effect: Andromeda is the most anticipated game ever since its announcement at E3 2015. A third-person action role-playing game, Andromeda will be different from the previous instalments in the series by being an open-world one.
THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: BREATH OF THE WILD

The 19th instalment in the Zelda franchise, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, will be similar to the original but will feature an open-world environment. It will revolve around Link, awakened by a mysterious voice that would aid him to defeat.

A tactical open-world shooter game, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands is the 10th game in the series. Ubisoft claims the game will feature one of the biggest open-world environments it has ever published. The game will be set in Bolivia and focus on the special ops unit “Ghosts” to destroy the Santa Blanca drug cartel.
Detroit: Become Human Release date: Unconfirmed Platform: PS4 exclusive
Detroit: Become Human, a neo-noir thriller game developed by Quantic Dream, is a PS4 exclusive. It will revolve around androids who want to experience their newfound sentience. It will also follow a non-linear gameplay and the story would progress according to the choices the player makes.
RESIDENT EVIL 7: BIOHAZARD
Resident Evil 7: Biohazard Release date: January 2017 Platform: PS4, Xbox One, PC
Though games aimed at killing zombies are not new, the Resident Evil franchise has always been loved by gamers. Capcom’s Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, 11th instalment of the main series, follows in the footsteps of its predecessors but is the first to offer a first-person perspective. The game will also support the PlayStation VR headset.
