Nomura Scandal

A payoff scandal involving Japans Nomura Securities took a twist with possible political repercussions on Tuesday when the chief government spokesman said three cabinet ministers held accounts at the brokerage. Prosecutors raided the headquarters and homes of several officials of one of Japans biggest banks.
