Seagate Gets New Vice-President

Seagate Technology Inc announced the appointment of Richard Johnson to the position of vice-president, consumer solutions. Johnson will oversee all activities within Seagate's Gonshmer Solutions group. "Richard will provide Seagate the leadership and experience required to take Seagate to the next level in our consumer strategy," Tom Mulvaney, Segate senior vice-president, Internet solutions. "Our early success in the consumerr electronics market mature, it's essential to our success to have someone who has experience in delivering innovative products to the broad consumer marketplace. Richard fits that role fectly." Johnson joins Seagate from SkyTune Corporation where he was predient and CEO.
