Telia Nominee Quits As Md Of Jt Mobile

Differences among partners in JT Mobile the cellular licensee for Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Punjab have come out in the open with the resignation of chief operating officer and managing director Jan Nilsson. Nilsson is the representative of Telia AB, Sweden.
JT Mobile is a consortium formed by the Madras-based Sanmar group, Parasrampuria Credit and Investments Ltd (PCIL, a representative of RK Associates, United Kingdom), United Telecom, Telecom Organi-sation of Thailand (TOT) and Bangkok-based Jasmine Interna-tional. Sanmar holds 20 per cent stake in the company, PCIL 20 per cent, United Telecom 11 per cent, Telia 26 per cent, TOT 10 per cent and Jasmine 13 per cent.
JT Mobile chairman and chief executive Rajamohan Rao said Nilssons exit was not decided yet.
