Traded Volume At Rs 188.09 Crore

The wholesale debt market (WDM) at the National Stock Exchange (NSE) clocked a traded volume of Rs 188.09 crore.
The treasury bills segment contributed Rs 50 crore to the total volume. There were seven repo deals concluded for a term of 12-14 days at the rate ranging from 10.5-11.75 per cent.
The repo deals contributed a volume of Rs 120 crore of which includes one deal for the treasury bills segment of Rs 10 crore.
Three deals, for Rs 50 crore, were concluded for the 12.14 per cent government securities at the rate of 11.50 per cent and 12 per cent. The deals were for 12 days.
The treasury bills maturing on April 24 were traded for Rs 32 crore at the weighted average yield of 12.93 per cent.
The 14-day treasury bill maturing on March 7 was traded for Rs 7 crore at the weighted yield of 10 per cent for a price of Rs 99.67.
The 17 per cent MTNL bond saw two trades for Rs 24 lakh at the weighted yield of 14.25 per cent with one deal at the price of Rs 104.60 and other at the price of Rs 108.75.
The corporate debenture segment witnessed a volume of Rs 50.77 lakh and 382 deals at the NSE.
