World Bank Plan

The World Bank has launched a metropolitan environment improvement programme (MIEP) in Mumbai and other Asian metropolitan cities to check growing pollution. Participants of the programme, apart from World Bank, include United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Australia, Belgium, Germany, The Netherlands and Norway.
