Not all astrologers, human or animals, are always correct. Achilles, the cat predicted that Argentina would lose to Nigeria and get eliminated from the Fifa World Cup 2018. For those who watched the match know what happened and how it happened. Not only did Argentina win and qualify for the next round, Messi scored the first goal of the match and also his first in the ongoing world cup. The cat's prediction was proved wrong when in the 86th minute Rojo scored the winning goal and shattered the dream of Nigeria.

Earlier, Argentina are in the bottom of Group D after they drew their opening match with Iceland. In the next match, they lost 3-0 against Croatia with Messi being relatively quiet in the entire match.

The match against Nigeria is a do or die for Messi and co as they are on the brink of elimination.

However, the omens don't look good for Lionel Messi and co before their final group match against Nigeria on Tuesday because the oracle cat of Fifa World Cup 2018 has predicted victory for Nigeria.

Achilles the cat, who has been predicting winners and losers in Fifa World CUp 2018 from St Petersburg Hermitage museum eats mice as a pest control measure when he is not predicting about football matches. The cat, who is deaf and regarded as psychic, previously predicted outcomes during the 2017 Confederations Cup.

Achilles has chosen Russia to beat Saudi Arabia and Egypt, Iran to beat Morocco and Brazil against Costa Rica but those results were much obvious although not for the cat.

But for Nigeria and Argentina, Achilles choose the Super Eagles via two bowls of food placed in front of him with a flag above each as in the picture.

Fifa oracle animals have become famous with the most popular name being Paul the Octopus. Paul predicted Spain will the winner of Fifa World Cup 2010.

Will Achilles' prediction be correct or can Messi overcome all odds?
