Half-time report: Chances went begging for Delhi Dynamos FC for the entirety of the first half against Bengaluru FC that ended with a 0-0 scoreline.

 

The short and quick passing game by Delhi had Bengaluru at their toes for almost the entire half during which the visitors carved out chances after chances but some fine goalkeeping by Gurpreet Singh Sandhu and some selfish play by Delhi players meant those chances could never be converted into goals.

 

One of the best chances for Delhi came in the 27th minute when a bit of short passing-play down the right flank released Nanda Kumar who then pulled it back for onrushing Kaludjerovic but the striker's first-time shot completely missed the target.

 

Delhi again did fantastically in the 31st minute during which Chhangte broke the offside trap to get behind a slicing Carmona through-ball that left him with only the goalkeeper to beat. He ignored his teammate on the far side and chose to shoot but it's blocked by Gurpreet. Similar selfish play in the 41st minute by Nanda fluffed Delhi's chance in the 41st minute when three Delhi players got behind the Bengaluru defence after an incisive pass. Das, on the right, had two temmates in the centre with nobody challenging them but Nanda took the shot and Gurpreet saved.
