Even if you have been living in a city for years or are someone who has recently moved in, running the basic errands in you house has become a headache now. Finding a plumber or an electrician or a carpenter these days to fix your small household woes is tougher than finding a bride for your son.

Timesaverz, an on-demand home-services app tries to make your life easier through various offerings including finding a handyman to repairing your home appliances to home cleaning and pick and drop services of files from various places including hospitals and offices.

The app can be downloaded from Google Play Store for free. Sign in using your email id and there you are ready to call for help.

Once you decide upon the service, you have options to choose between an annual package or one-time service with the date and time-slot you want. The costs vary upon the type of service availed. For instance, the annual package for cleaning a 3-BHK apartment is at Rs 11,797, an electrician’s one-time service will cost you Rs 393. Payments could be made using credit/debit cards, net banking, wallet and cash card options.

A simple and clutter-free user interface helps you to easily navigate through the app for various offerings.

The app gives reward points by clocking up the minutes every time your job is with Timesaverz. These minutes could be redeemed against discount coupons at various spa, restaurants, etc.

Cancellations before three hours are possible on the app. However, last-minute cancellations that involve less than three hours require rescheduling of the job or the customer has to pay 15 per cent of the charges.

Currenlty, the app offers its services only in select cities — Bengaluru, Mumbai and Pune.

The only pain-point is the app hangs occasionally. Except for this, Timesaverz definitely proves out to be a thoughtful app built on the popular saying, ‘necessity is the mother of inventions’. It will find more takers if expanded to more cities.
