About 50 lakh people have visited the app page, since last month.Elaborating on the sudden increase in downloads, Tandon said: Some of the users created messages and spread it on Whatsapp after which they got viral and people started checking the app.The apps Facebook page likes have risen to 45,000, he added.

Presently, the app is available in English and Hindi, but buoyed by the response, Healthkart will soon launch it in other regional languages.

Besides, we will also add another feature, drug interaction, which will also help the users know about the Dos and Donts, Tandon said.

Apart from Healthkart plus, users are also using other Android apps like My Dawai and Get Med to get more information about the drugs that they are using.
