Ahead of the launch of Windows 8, Microsoft is organising an 18-hour non-stop coding marathon, AppFest, in Bangalore on Friday. Around 4000 developers have registered for the two-day event. Sources in the know said Microsoft was making an official attempt to win the record for assembling maximum number of developers at one place at a time.
