Kavveri Telecom buys Canadian firm

| TIL-TEK has manufacturing facilities in Kemptville, Canada and provides a complete line of base station and remote antennas in frequencies from 800 MHz to 5.8 GHz, with selected products from 300 MHz to 28 GHz. |
| According to C Shivakumar Reddy, managing director of the company, TIL-TEK antenna applications include cellular, GSM, PCS, WLL/WLAN and rural point-to-multipoint systems as well as special applications such as radar test targets and digital audio broadcast antennas. |
| "The acquisition of TIL-TEK provide a very strong platform to facilitate Kavveri's expansion into the lucrative North American market," Reddy said. |
| Few months ago, Kavveri Telecom Products had bagged an order from Reliance Infocomm for the supply of radio frequency (RF) products and antennas to the tune of Rs 4.95 crore. |
| Reliance Infocomm has bought these products to strengthen its networks and also utilise them in handling CDMA traffic in the country. It had also bagged orders from Alcatel and World Space Corporation for supply of RF products and Antennas to the tune of Rs 5.77 crore. |
