Rediffusion Y&R and Tata Sky today split after a fruitful relationship of two years. The leading communication agency, Rediffusion Y&R and the fastest growing DTH company, Tata Sky said that they have mutually agreed to part ways.
Rediffusion Y&R came on board Tata Sky prior to its launch in 2006 and since then had partnered with them in building the brand and creating awareness about the DTH category in India. Its success on the brand has resulted in Tata Sky becoming the fastest growing DTH company in the world today.
Nisha Singhania, EVP, Rediffusion Y&R, Mumbai said: “We’ve had a very rewarding journey launching and building the Tata Sky brand in the Indian market. However, every relationship runs its course and so has ours, hence we have mutually agreed to part ways. We wish the Tata Sky team all the best in their future endeavours.”
