Dabur India Ltd will invest Rs 250 crores in a new manufacturing plant in Assam to meet the growing demand for its products in the region. “In order to meet the growing demand for products of the company, the board of the directors of the company has approved a capex of Rs 250 crores for setting up a manufacturing plant at Tezpur, Assam,” said Dabur in a BSE filing on April 28, 2016.
 
The new plant, which will manufacture health and personal care products, is expected to start production by next year.
