 "Steel Strips Wheels clears PSA Peugeot audit")
The Chennai plant of Steel Strips Wheels Ltd (SSWL) has cleared an audit QSB+ by PSA (Peugeot) making it eligible to supply the wheels to all the plants of PSA across the world. This will open up big opportunity for SSWL to extend its reach in PSA and grow the business worldwide.
"SSWL Chennai plant has today achieved an enviable feat of being the first Indian plant to have passed the QSB+ audit by PSA. Chennai plant has passed the QSB+ audit with an overall score of 93 percent. With this certification, SSWL Chennai plant is now approved for supply of parts to all the PSA Peugeot/Citroen plants across the globe," said Steel Strips Wheels in a BSE filing on September 15, 2016.
The certificate is valid for a period of 4 years after which the plant will be re-audited and re-certified.
