All India Institute of Ayurveda to come up in New Delhi

The institute has been conceived as an apex institute of ayurveda with 200 bedded referral hospital and to impart education in the field of ayurveda at MD and PhD level

The government is planning to invest Rs 157 crore for setting an All India Institute of Ayurveda in New Delhi. This information was given by the Minister of State for AYUSH, Shripad Yesso Naik in reply to a question in Lok Sabha on May 6, 2016.
 
The institute has been conceived as an apex institute of ayurveda with 200 bedded referral hospital and to impart education in the field of ayurveda at MD and PhD level. The institute is expected to be functional during 2016-17.
