“Gravita India Ltd has commenced commercial production of PET recycling by setting up plant through its step-down subsidiary Gravita Nicaragua SA situated in Nicaragua. The management of the company is of the view that entering into PET recycling business will enhance the recycling DNA of the group,” said Gravita in a BSE filing on January 4, 2016.
The present annual production capacity of the plant is 3600 metric tonne per annum (MTPA).
At present, Gravita is engaged in the business of manufacturing of lead metal by recycling & smelting process and has total production capacity of 95,149 metric tonnes per annum.
