IPL Points Table

The 18th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 kicked off on March 22 and the league stage of the competition was ended on May 27. After the conclusion of 70 league matches in IPL 2026, Punjab Kings (PBKS) emerged as the top team with 9 wins in 14 matches. PBKS was followed by Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), Gujarat Titans (GT) and Mumbai Indians (MI).

The final of the tournament is set for May 25. 
 
 
How does the IPL 2026 points table work?

The IPL 2026 points table will be based on the standard points system, where
- 2 points will be awarded for a win
- 1 point will be awarded for a tie or no result
- 0 points will be awarded for a loss
 
Teams will be ranked based on their total points, with the team having the most points occupying the top spot.

The following ten teams are part of the IPL 2026:
Group A: Chennai Super Kings, Rajasthan Royals, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Kolkata Knight Riders, and Punjab Kings.
Group B: Gujarat Titans, Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals, Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Lucknow Super Giants.
