Bathinda University sacks two guards, two wardens as students get strip-searched by wardens

Bathinda (Punjab), May 01 (ANI): Female students of Akal University continued their protest in Punjab's Bathinda. The protest was held after girls of one of the hostels were allegedly asked to strip their clothes by warden. The students claimed that they were forced to strip and undergo a search exercise in order to check who among them had allegedly dumped a used sanitary pad in the toilet. The authorities terminated the services of two female wardens and two female security guards on charges of dereliction of duty.
