Trent Alexander-Arnold has injured his left leg days before Real Madrid faces Manchester City in the Champions League. The England right back hurt an upper left leg muscle. He exited a 3-0 win at Athletic Bilbao early in the second half on Wednesday. The former Liverpool player was sidelined for around six weeks this season due to a different left leg injury. Alexander-Arnold made four consecutive starts for Xabi Alonso's side before this latest setback. The club did not indicate on Thursday how long it expected Alexander-Arnold to be out. The England international showed all the signs he was near top form again after missing the first part of the season because of shoulder surgery. Bellingham has scored in consecutive matches, having found the net for the first time this season last Wednesday in the 1-0 win against Juventus in the Champions League. He has showed no signs of physical ailments and has been crucial in helping the team control the pace in midfield and attack. Bellingham underwent surgery in the summer and didn't play his first match until September when he came off the bench in a La Liga game against Espanyol.
