16 years, 1.8 million units, and a number of suffixes later, the Maruti 800 has just got another lease of life. Maruti Udyog last month launched a special edition of the 800 called, predictably, the Maruti 800 Special. The latest 800 will sport body graphics, body coloured bumpers and a body coloured grill, apart from plastic hubcaps.

It has also been fitted with an all-new instrument cluster, with interior fabric colour-coded in bright, cheeky hues. The special edition will come in two variants
