I have a monthly commute of 1,200 km in Mumbai city and would like to buy either the Skoda Yeti, Toyota Corolla Altis diesel or the Skoda Laura. Which one should I buy?

For your kind of use, a diesel may not be necessary, but if you insist we suggest a diesel automatic for Mumbai’s traffic conditions. In that case, the Laura automatic is your best bet. It’s effortless in operation, has good power and will return 11-12 kmpl in chaotic traffic conditions. Well-built, practical and with a large boot, the Laura is good even for the odd highway trip. It may be a bit pricey, but it’s what we would recommend for you.
