Shekhar Varshney tells an interesting story of how he was once asked by an elderly relative what he did in life. “I play games; I am a game tester,” he replied. The relative looked a bit perplexed but asked, “That is fine but what do you do for a living?” Nothing Varshney said could convince him that game-testing could be a bonafide paying profession.
