Power company Adani Power posted a 41% jump in its net profit at Rs 177.4 crore for the quarter ended September 2011. The figure was Rs 125.8 crore in the year-ago period.
Total income sprang over three-fold to Rs 1,073 crore as against Rs 395.1 crore in September 2010.
The company's stock price on Bombay Stock Exchange was down 3.5% at Rs 81 at 1200 hours.
