Ashok Leyland's sales up by 28% in September

Hinduja Group flagship Ashok Leyland today reported a 27.53 per cent jump in total sales at 15,370 units in September.

The company reported a 32 per cent growth in M&HCV sales at 11,804 units in September.

Leyland's LCV sales rose by 15 per cent to 3,566 units from 3,094 units last year.

Total sales, including M&HCV and LCV sales, of the company in September rose by 28 per cent to 15,370 units from 12,052 units last year.

Company's sales from April to September rose by eight per cent to 69,486 units from 64,606 units, a year ago. M&HCV sales rose by four per cent to 51,280 units from 49,368 units between April and September 2017, while LCV sales rose by 19 per cent to 18,206 units from 15,238 units last year.
