Azafran Innovacion Limited, which on Wednesday launched organic skin care products under the brand 'Azafran Organics', is in process of expanding capacity at its manufacturing facility located on Sanand-Nalsarovar Road, a top company official said here.
"We are in process of expanding our current facility located on Sanand-Nalsarovar Road to cater to the demand for organic cosmetic products," said Aditi Vyas, director, Azafran Innovacion.
"Our production capacity is 10,000 units per day which we would like to augment to cater to the increasing demand for organic cosmetic products," said Vyas.

The company plans to achieve sales of Rs 40 crore by 2018 and tap five per cent of conventional cosmetic market in the country which is around Rs 10,000 crore, said Deep Patel, chief marketing officer, Azafran.
Mansi Vyas, founder and director of Azafran Innovacion Ltd, added, “Azafran has invested about Rs 20 crore to set up its integrated ‘Farm to Face’ model. We plan to have a pan-India presence and currently have marketing tie-ups with modern retail players as well as leading e-commerce players apart from our own website."
