BHEL bags Rs 640-cr order from Adhunik Power

State-run BHEL today said it has bagged another Rs 640-crore order from Adhunik Power and Natural Resources for supplying equipment for the company's thermal power project in Jharkhand.

"BHEL has bagged a repeat order from Adhunik Power and Natural Resources for supplying boilers, turbines and generators for 270 MW unit of the company's Jharkhand power project," a company statement said.

The order for the first 270 MW unit of the same project has also earlier been placed on BHEL.

BHEL would design, manufacture, supply and erect and undertake the commissioning of steam turbines, generators and boilers along with associated auxiliaries, it said.

These equipment would be manufactured at the company's units in Haridwar, Trichy and Bangalore.
