Retail giants seem to have caught the fancy of mangoes grown in Gujarat.Large companies engaged in retailing and exports of mangoes are making a beeline to Gujarat for sourcing the fruit.

		</script> </DIV><p class='TableClas'>At least half a dozen companies are learnt to have approached mango growers in Junagadh, Valsad and other districts of South Gujarat. Some of the companies include Reliance Retail, Bharti Retail of Bharti Enterprises Group, Subhiksha and Mahindra &amp; Mahindra. 
</p><p class='TableClas'>Last year too, a few companies entered the markets at the end of the season but this year they have started negotiating with farmers at the onset of the season.
