Thiruvananthapuram-based builder, Dewa Projects, will launch its first residential project at Kochi on Thursday.
Addressing a press conference here, Venugopal Nair, its chairman and managing director, said Dewa Pier 20, the new project on the Marine Drive, would see an investment of Rs 600 crore in the first phase, which will be completed in 2014. The seven-tower, 24-storey project includes 605 waterfront apartments and is priced at Rs 5,500 sft.
He said the first three towers were scheduled to be completed in 2014 and the rest by next year. The construction of the first tower was in full swing now. The project will house 1,200-2,500 sft, 2-and-3-bedroom apartments apart from a few 4 and 5-bedroom duplex pent houses.
CPG Corporation of Singapore has designed the project.
Ranjit Jacob, director, Dewa Projects, said the company had 14 acres of land at the newly reclaimed area of the Marine Drive and 6.4 acres will be used for the project.
