Dhathri to open speciality clinics

Dhathri, a Kerala-based ayurvedic products manufacturing company, will open speciality clinics and branded retail outlets across the country as the part its expansion plan.
The company will open two such clinics at Kochi, focusing on pain management and skin-related diseases. It will also set up an extraction unit with an investment of Rs 6 crore.
Addressing a press conference, Sajikumar, managing director, said the company would foray into the ayurvedic food supplement sector this year.
In view of the growing demand for neutrasuticals, which reduces the gap between food and medicine, the company plans to set up a neutrasutical plant at Nellad within two years. For this, it has earmarked Rs 15 crore.
The company is targeting to double its turnover to Rs 200 crore this fiscal as against last financial year.
Dhathri FMCG division started operations in 2004-05 with a turnover of Rs 10.38 crore. It has 21 classical and patent products and plans to increase the number to 100 by this year.
The group operates ayurvedic multi-specialty hospitals at Kochi, Kayamkulam and Guruvayoor
