DIAL wins the Greentech Gold Award

Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL), promoted by the GMR led consortium of airport developers, has won the prestigjous Greentech Gold Award for Environmental Excellence in Aviation Sector 2008.

DIAL has received this award for its extensive efforts in pollution prevention and innovative use of new technolgies in environmental management.

Some of the key initiatives undertaken by the department include — waste management, water conservation, air quality management and airport rules & regulations for stakeholders.
