Vadodara-based Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited (DPIL) has received orders aggregating Rs 48.3 crore for supplying 108 power transformers. The company has been awarded multiple orders from diverse customers to supplying a total of 108 transformers.

"It has been more than four years since we forayed into power transformers space. It gives me great pride to state that in such a short period, we have not only been able to turnaround our power transformer division but also are fast emerging to be the preferred manufacturer and supplier to our clients. The current orders reflect our belief in the business and our efforts in creating an integrated power T&D company," said Amit Bhatnagar, MD, DPIL.

The orders shall translate into topline for the company within the next three months.

The company has augmented its capacities and capability to offer a vast range of power transformers up to 315 MVA and 220 KV. DPIL gets its transformers type tested with the CPRI centres in Bangalore or Bhopal.
