After catering to government, aviation, online retail and education sectors with its tamper evident packaging products, Vadodara-based Dynaflex Pvt. Ltd. is now eyeing the pharmaceuticals and secret investigation agencies for the same.
The company is also expanding its security tamper evident packaging product manufacturing plant near Vadodara.
"We have been offering security and tamper evident packaging solutions to only government agencies like the regional passport offices, but also banks, financial institutions, online retailers, aviation and gems and jewellery. However, we see huge potential in the pharma industry with drug makers looking to offer their products in a safe and secure manner," said Gaurav Vora, director of Dynaflex Pvt. Ltd.
Offering security and tamper evident packaging products and solutions, Dynaflex Pvt. Ltd. is the only company to manufacture the same in India. Dynaflex products range from the day-to-day used poly mailers and courier bags to specialty packaging for prestigious companies in the F&B and lifestyle segments to highly classified & top secret government and defense applications.
While the company has been offering its products to over 35 countries, it is now looking to increase its focus in India. "For this, we are expanding our security and tamper evident packaging product manufacturing capacity from current 500,000 to over two million in next couple of years," said Vora.
Having already invested in customised European technology for manufacturing such tamper evident products, Dynaflex is now further investing around Rs 25 crore at its Vadodara plant in Gujarat for capacity expansion.
Some of its major clients include DHL, Flipkart, Regional Passport Office of Maharashtra, and Myntra, among others, in sectors like education, immigration, police and forensic departments, aviation, defence, banking, gems & jewelry. In the aviation sector, Dynaflex, is one of the only 10 global manufacturers of International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) approved liquids, aerosols and gels (LAGs) and security tamper-evident bags (STEBs) that help counter terror threats in the industry.
Post expansion, from an estimated turnover of Rs 32 crore for the fiscal 2012-13, Dynaflex is expecting to grow to Rs 120 crore revenue by financial year 2015-16.
