Godrej launches high-end safes

Godrej Security Solutions (GSS), a part of Godrej & Boyce Manufacturing Ltd, on Thursday launched its latest range of safes branded Defender Z+, which incorporate three layers of security — access control, alarm system and proximity sensor (camera). Addre-ssing the media, Dara E Byramjee, vice president and business head, GSS, said the product was aimed at banks and jewellers. It would be available in the price range of Rs 50,000 to Rs 5 lakh depending on the size. Godrej currently has a market share of 70 percent in the country.
