The editors of MIT Technology Review every year choose the top 50 companies in the world that best combine innovative technology with effective business models and are also business-savvy. From large companies to ambitious start-ups, the list represents new, ground-breaking ideas. United States-based companies grabbed 62% of the winning spots this year.
