Grofers will now deliver Reliance Jio 4G smartphones too

On-demand e-commerce mobile application Grofers will deliver Reliance Jio 4G smartphones at their customers' doorsteps. Reliance Jio has started selling its smartphones from Friday.

Three models of the 4G phone -- Lyf Earth 1, Lyf Water 1 and Lyf Water 2 -- are already being sold through Reliance Retail. The phones will complement Reliance Jio's services that are expected to be launched by March-April, Grofers said in a statement. The company

The phones will be available on Grofers at more than 150 stores across 13 cities including Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kanpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai and Pune. The smartphones are priced between Rs 14,690-Rs 23,990.

 

Grofers will be sourcing these smartphones from its wide network of merchants across each of the cities.

Founded in 2013 by Saurabh Kumar and Albinder Dhindsa, Grofers is headquartered in Gurgaon and currently has presence across 17 cities. Through its mobile application, users can place online orders for anything ranging from groceries to bakery items to books and cosmetics and get them delivered to their doorstep.
